Note:  First Lady Jill Biden departs Washington today for travel to Namibia and Kenya, from February 22-26 to strengthen the United States’ partnerships on the African continent and advance shared priorities in the region.  The First Lady’s visit follows the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit late last year.  This will be her sixth visit to Africa, first visit to Namibia, and third visit to Kenya.

3:40 p.m. EST – THE VICE PRESIDENT will deliver remarks announcing updates on the Biden-Harris Administration’s efforts to lower costs for homebuyers; the HUD Secretary will attend | Bowie State University, Maryland

Looking ahead: on Friday, February 24, the Vice President will hold a meeting on access to reproductive health care.  On Monday, February 27, the Vice President will travel to Columbia, South Carolina, to highlight progress on the Administration’s efforts to expand affordable high-speed internet nationwide.
