6:40 a.m. EDT – the Vice President and Second Gentleman will depart Orlando, Florida, en route to Kennedy Space Center, Florida
8:30 a.m. EDT – the Vice President and Second Gentleman will view the Artemis I launch
10:05 a.m. EDT – the Vice President and Second Gentleman will tour Artemis II and Artemis III mission hardware
12:00 p.m. EDT – the Vice President will deliver remarks regarding the Artemis I launch
1:00 p.m. EDT – the Vice President and Second Gentleman will depart Kennedy Space Center, Florida, en route to Washington, D.C.
Note: Per NASA Communications, Artemis I launch director Charlie Blackwell-Thompson has called a scrub of today’s launch due to an engine issue. The next opportunity to launch starts 12:48 p.m. EDT on September 2, if the engine issue is resolved.
