The Senate will convene today, Monday, February 3, at 2:00 pm. After any leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the conference report to accompany H.R. 2642, the Federal Agriculture Reform and Risk Management Act of 2013 (also known as the farm bill). Time will be equally divided and controlled until 5:30 pm, when there will be a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the conference report. The House will convene today at 12:00 pm for morning hour and 2:00 pm for legislative business, with votes being postponed until 6:30 pm. The following legislation will be considered under suspension of the rules:

  1. H.R. 1791 – Medical Preparedness Allowable Use Act; and
  2. H.R. 357 – GI Bill Tuition Fairness Act of 2013, as amended.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4, and Wednesday, February 5, the House will meet at 10:00 am for morning hour and 12:00 pm for legislative business. The following legislation is on the House calendar for Tuesday and Wednesday:

  • H.R. 3590 – Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act of 2013 (Subject to a Rule); and
  • H.R. 3964 – Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley Emergency Water Delivery Act, Rules Committee Print (Subject to a Rule).

On Thursday, February 6, the House will meet at 9:00 am for legislative business, with last votes expected no later than 3:00 pm. On the House calendar for Thursday is H.R. 2954 – The Public Access and Lands Improvement Act, Rules Committee Print (Subject to a Rule).

The House is scheduled to be in recess this Friday, February 7.
